Question: Hello Richard, James suggested I contact you. I'm looking for transport for my daughter's VW Golf because I am buying a car and can't drive it home. The tricky thing is that the AA isn't coming to inspect it until Thursday, 14 April and I won't be given a time until after 9.00 am that day. If the car fails the inspection obviously I won't buy the car and we won't need to transport the Golf home. It seems unlikely that the car will fail the inspection but you can never be sure. Clearly I can't book your service until I know for sure and I wonder how much notice you need. It's even trickier being the Easter bank holiday weekend. We can be flexible about when you deliver the car and where. So, it might be possible to meet you at Leeds train station if you wanted to catch the train back to Sheffield. Once the AA inspection is complete I'll contact you straight away on Thursday if that's OK and get this job booked in with you. We'll be able to be a little flexible about where you collect the car from depending on whether you are able to get down to the West Country on Good Friday or not, assuming you won't be able to get here on Thursday given it's such short notice. It'll most probably be Bath/ Bristol area as I'll have to bring the new car away from the dealer in Wales once I've bought it. Thanks for your help with this. If the AA inspector doesn't finish his inspection until 4.00 pm I'm not going to know whether it's failed or passed until then so I can't let you know whether I definitely need you to transport the Golf until I know for certain that I'm buying the new car. Are you going to be in the Bristol/Bridgend area on Thursday anyway?
