Chris is a retired member of Rhyl Lifeboat crew and is into all things nautical. Regards Chris and Julie Question: The boat is on a trailer with two tyres need pumping up and you will need a tailgate with electrical connections for your reg , is that possible would you Locke to view the boat first to make sure all is ok to transport - (29-06-2019) Response: Hi, thanks for your message. We have a light board, that is no problem. We can also pump up the tyres. My main concern would be whether the tyres, wheel bearings and brakes are in good condition for it to be towed on the motorway. Unfortunately Cardiff is some distance from us and we do not have a job going that way at the moment, so to get to see the trailer will be difficult. Are you buying the boat? If so, could you ask the seller when it was last used, serviced etc? Thanks Chris - (29-06-2019) Question: I’ve bought the boat and need it transported the boat has stood for year + the tyres are new with air should be ok the trailer was perfect I’m told before it being stored the brake cable is a little rusty but that’s just because the boat has stood also the drain plug needs to be removed as these water in the boat - (29-06-2019) Response: Hi, that all sounds good (I don't think I've come across a brake cable that isn't rusty!!). We would pick up from Cardiff at approx 10am and expect to get to Brighton between 3-4pm. Cash on delivery is fine. However, you need to accept my quote on the website and pay the deposit online.
