Thank you for your interest with this proposition.
I was informed last night that the motorcycle I was intending to ship from Portsmouth had actually been sold to another buyer, and I would therefore not require transport for it.
However, I've had a message from the seller today which indicates that the bike might actually still be available.
I therfore need to contact him and establish the full details and take it from there.
I will therfore keep this quote request open and update regarding the position as soon as possible.
If transport is required, then pick-up time would be very flexible as the seller is retired and at home most of the time.
I myself would travel to Liverpool by boat from the Isle of Man, pick up the bike, and return to the Island immediately. Therefore the drop off and collection time would need to be in conjunction with the docking of the boat in Liverpool (there is about a 1 hour turn-around).

Would you please confirm that you would be able to deliver the bike to Albert Dock in Liverpool for 18:15, Friday 20th April (this week)?
I have a small window of opportunity regarding collection of this motorcycle. My ferry arrives in Liverpool at 18:15, and returns to the Isle of Man at 19:30. I therefore need to have the bike loaded by about 18:45 at the latest.
If you can guarantee this then the job is yours.
The seller is flexible regarding collection.

I can confirm that I can achieve this on Friday 20th April....if I collect the bike from Gosport at 11am then that should give me plenty of time to get it to Liverpool Docks by about 4.30pm.
I will need to give myself plenty of time in case of Friday traffic hold ups on the motorway... I would rather arrive early and wait for you rather than be late !
You will need to accept my quote on the website and pay the website commission fee to book me for Friday. Once you have done that you can either pay me the rest of the balance by bank transfer or by cash on delivery ?

I'm going to book the ferry as soon as I get home later this afternoon and will then officially accept your offer.
I did check the ferry yesterday and there was plenty of availability so there shouldn't be any problems booking.

I've also been thinking about the timings, and knowing how busy the roads are once you get off the motorway and into Liverpool, I'd be happier if you were leaving Portsmouth at 11, rather than arriving there. What do you think?
