Question: Hello,

Thank you for your quote of £319 for job 1261353 (BMW 1 Series 118i Sport, ), Beckenham BR3 1NQ to Surrey , Cranleigh GU6 8RZ. Before I book, I would like to clarify a few points.

The listing says "Operational: Yes", but I should be clear about the car's condition. It has a drivetrain fault and is in limp mode. It has not been driven since 9 October. It rolls, steers and brakes, but I do not want it driven, so it needs to go on a trailer or flatbed. Can you confirm that your quote and vehicle are suitable for this?

I am abroad until around 23 October, so collection must be on 26 or 27 October, when I will be at the address to hand over the keys.

Could you please confirm:
1. That £319 is the total fixed price for this route and condition, with no extra charges.
2. That you will collect on 26 or 27 October, and the delivery date or time window at Cranleigh.
3. The deposit amount, when the balance is due, and your cancellation and refund terms. The dealer receiving the car has not yet confirmed the date, so I may need to move it.
4. That your insurance covers a vehicle being transported with a mechanical fault, and the cover limit.
5. Whether you take a condition report with photographs at collection and delivery, and whether a signed handover receipt at the dealer is included.
6. A contact number for the driver on the day.
7. The business name you operate under.

Thank you,
Greg - (20-10-2026)

Response: Hi Greg,
Thank you for getting back to us.
Yes, we are still available to transport the car on 26th October. We can pick up around 8-9 am and deliver straight away.
The quote covers transportation service on a trailer (the car will not be driven).
The deposit amount to pay is determined by this website, but it should roughly be between £60-70.
The remaining balance can be paid on the day either in cash to the driver, or by bank transfer prior to delivery.
If a job is cancelled or postponed on short notice (within 48 hours of arranged time) - 50% cancellation / postponement fee will be incurred. If a job is cancelled or postponed within 24 hours of the move - 100% cancellation / postponement fee will be incurred.
The insurance cover of a car being transported is up to £50,000.
Our driver is happy to sign a report if it is provided, and take photos upon customer's request.
After the quote is accepted, we will send you the business name and driver's number (Delivery Quote Compare does not allow to exchange such information before the quote is accepted).
Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Best Regards,
Justin
