Response: It could be but It has a cam belt that was changed at 39 k miles and is well overdue on time as the age of the belt is between 12 and 13 years. So the belt is technically at least 6 years overdue for a change and has done near enough 30 k miles. Hence the request for transportation.

Thanks for your interest but things have now changed as the seller is going to try to get the cam belt done. Therefore I am closing the job and see what happens later.
My existing car will be repaired on Friday.

Response: The car that I am hoping to buy has a full service history with it and is a top of the range albeit old Renault scenic so I am sorry I cannot risk it on a 268 mile journey.

Thanks for the reply.
I will be closing the Job as the seller is going to get the cam belt done and my own car will be fixed by Friday.
