Response: I am looking for it to be collected sooner rather than later, as it is currently in a compound where we are paying a daily rate for it to sit there.
It can be driven, but I am mindful that it will keep requesting for a driver tag to be used. It doesn't stop the vehicle being driven just a constant message.

Response: The tag is something that we use to identify who is driving our vehicles to support positive driver behaviour. :-)
The van is less than 3 years old, so no MOT required. It is fully taxed.

Response: It has been recovered to a compound by the Police. I have spoken with the company where it is and as soon as I confirm who and when, they will send me the invoice, which will be paid today.

Response: Not sure I understand your message. I have spoken with the company that recovered it for the Police. We reported it stolen due to a disgruntled ex-employee ignoring our requests to return it. It is fully insured, taxed, etc.
The recovery company who are holding it have told me the amount I need to pay for the initial recovery and the daily rate while it is still there and have confirmed that once I am able to confirm who is picking it up and when, they will send me an invoice to cover the period, which I will pay immediately, and provide them with a letter confirming ownership and permission for it to be released.
