Response: Hi - thanks for getting in touch. We have decided to let the seller in Leeds handle the return. The car was sold to my wife under false pretences as a 2010 Audi A5. We discovered a fault on the car while driving home and subsequently found that the car - advertised as having 90,000 miles on the clock - in fact had an older 2008 engine which had done 138,000 miles!
The seller has agreed to take the car back and we have decided to leave the return to him. Once her money has been returned we will raise a case with Trading Standards and demand a return of the return delivery cost.

Do you happen to know if the place we bought the car from is a legit business? They sell on Gumtree using the name Car Van Centre. There's a postcode LS9 7QT (I think I gave you that already) but no street address. It's a big yard off Walford Road with a portacabin and lots of vehicles. The dealer claims that they are registered car traders.
The yard can be seen on Google Earth but it must be an old photo because it's a wasteland. It has been resurfaced and there is a large new shed on it.

that's good. We will pay and hope to recover the cost from the seller.
The car is in an enclosed car parking area known as Albion Court. This is the first left turn off Northcrofts Road, which is off North Back Road.
