Response: Hi, I know the quote may look expensive but you have to understand that to move this for the price you want to pay would mean I’d get paid 180, the site adds around 25 percent which would show you a figure of 227. I don’t think anybody would move a big car like that 300 miles for 180, I certainly wouldn’t.

Response: Hi, yes that would be ok with me but with the sites booking fee you would pay £313. To move the car for £250 total would mean I only get paid £200 and the site gets £50 and that isn’t worth me doing.

The way that this site works is I put a price and the site then add a booking fee to my quote. Once you have paid the booking fee, we can then exchange contact details and arrange transport. Until the booking fee has been paid, if you try and send any contact details then the site will blank them out. I believe you have tried to send me a mobile number and this does not show.

In terms of my best price, this is £250 and I have amended my quote on the job to reflect this. However, as per the above, the site have added £63 booking fee. Trying to get around paying the booking fee would terminate my account and mean I am no longer able to bid for work on this site.

Please accept this quote if you want me to do the job on Wednesday. I have bid on a few jobs so if someone else accepts their quote first then I will withdraw my quote and will not be able to do the job.
