We are Niche market forwarder specialising in Supply Chain Management for the Construction Industry.
· As such our aim and business plan is to provide the highest level of flexibility and added value to our clients, whether that be, in house providing a complete range of activities from pick and packing courier, groupage, LCL, FCL, break bulk, or complete ships charter, to a simple collection and delivery of a new or 2nd hand machine.
· We are a non-asset based company, which provides us with a complete freedom of choice and allows greater flexibility and reduced overheads, which is reflected in the prices and service we can provide long term.
· The number of suppliers we use across Europe in the case of this tender can be as many as 20 from hauliers to shipping companies. This allows us and our clients to benefit from our extensive knowledge and database of specialist hauliers, who can supply specialist load carrying equipment to haul Abnormal Load machinery all over Europe and if necessary the world as well as competitive shipping rates.
· In 2007 we managed €100m turnover of which 60% was Construction related business.
· Over the last two years this has declined due to the global economic crisis especially in the construction sector.
· Our aim in the next three years is to achieve growth back to the 2007 level of €100m
· Our five-year plan would be to increase this by an additional 20%.
· The remaining 40% of our business is being supported by the growth in new business sectors of Nuclear Power and Renewable energy sectors.
· These elements are where we traditionally came from 30 years ago.
· We have offices in the UK, Belgium, NL, Finland, Germany, Italy, Rumania, Hong Kong and Singapore we are able to source and mange issues at a local level and in all languages.
· We have 150 personnel all trained and versed in the management of out of gauge movements and supply chain management of out of gauge cargo.
· Our extensive in house knowledge allows us to manage all aspects of the supply chain of our clients as well as provide statistical data, which we can produce weekly/monthly on each move we do.
· We provide our own in house Permit control to comply with all countries we operate in.
· This provides an audit trail to comply with current legislation in each country we go to and assists our clients in making good management decisions and budgets.
· This service allows them to mitigate costs whilst improving the level of customer service to their dealer network and end user.
· In 2007 we moved in excess of 100,000 abnormal loads all requiring permits within Europe.
