I informed that i needed a time slot as i wanted to be with the ebay item i was buying to hand over the cash when it was being collected. I was informed the two days before i would have an eta that night. This never came. I then emailed again to ask and was told between 3-4pm. At 1pm i got a call to say the driver would be there in an hour. When i explained this was not possible as i live an hour and a half away i was told i "better hurry". The drivers complained the item was too heavy (Although i had put the correct size and weight on the details) They then also complained the item being picked up was on a hill and nearly reversed into a car. | 12 boxes and some suitcases | saurav276 | The whole experience was a nightmare. Far from professional. They had quoted £56 in their bid. But they charged me £130 pounds from me. They did not say athing but when they loaded the stuff on to their truck they literally held me for ransome asking 180. I was left stranded with boxes and suitcases. I had clearly stated the dimensions and weight of the goods. BUt it turned ouit that the driver was not aware of the dimensions and weight. i literally had no choice. this is after reguklar follow up with the company about when would they pick up. Till the previous night 12 o clock they didnot confirm me the time. On the morning of the shift after a followup, they said they would turn up in between4 30 and 5 30. they called me at 1:20 saying they would be there by 2:25. i have never seen such bad and unprofessional services. Words can not explain the agony I went through Response:Firstly, you did not specify the weight of each box which was between 40-70 each box, very heavy suitcases exceeded the 40k. you told the driver the total weight was 433k, why not mention that on your listing? Plus delivery was not easy, lots of steps involved and the driver is only human to lift each of these massive heavy boxes to your lovely flat, you scammed us to bid on your items for £56, to move a couple of boxes and in fact it was like moving a one bedroom house!To all transporters.. please check with this customer in the future!! he is a nightmare!! | |
