I just wanted to check whether your price includes collecting the boxes from my flat and loading them onto your vehicle?
Also, I would need some boxes for my packing, which I should be grateful if you could send to me in advance of the collection date. Please could you advise as to the price of your boxes, and their dimensions?

Also, how much would the additional insurance policy cost (mentioned in your bid information)?

I the boxes were collected on 29 May, when would they arrive in Zurich?

The service is door to door - ground floor to ground floor only.

We can provide boxes if required , however please confirm the sizes of boxes you require.

Collection 29th May - delivery the following Friday "subject to customs clearance"

Insurance - we would need the value of the goods to confirm the cost.

Question: Thanks for your swift response.

I live on the third floor of my building (there is a lift), with a set of stairs (approx. 8 steps) from the front door to the courtyard. Please could you quote on this basis?

I would need 10 large boxes (say around 55cm x 55cm x 38 cm or similar). I would pack the boxes myself but would need the boxes delivered in advance to pack them.

The value of the goods would probably be around £1500.

I can request a dedicated driver to carry the boxes from third floor to the vehicle for you at no extra cost.

Boxes would be £100.00

Insurance would be £65.00

Question: Thank you for your message.

I think I will obtain my own boxes.

So to recap: would your quote be for £345 (+ £65 for insurance) for the delivery of 10 large boxes (approx. 55cm x 55cm x 38cm (with assistance loading the boxes onto your van).
Once I have packed the boxes, I will let you know if there are any extra boxes, so you can advise me of any extra costs.

With a collection date of 29 May, for delivery for the following Friday (5 June)(subject to customs clearance).

I would be grateful if you could confirm/summarise the terms by return (and any other relevant terms), before I accept the quote.

Response: Hi Saba,

The above is fully correct / you will provide the boxes and pack the items.

I will collect from your house and our driver will do all the lifting / work.

If you have any extra boxes it will cost roughly £40.00 per box.

Collect 29/5 - deliver 5/6 subject to customs.
