- Question:
Hi Michael,
Thanks for getting in touch and providing the details of your services. Apologies for the delay in getting back to you, I wanted to put the ad out early to get some initial quotes so we had an idea of how much we needed to budget for the delivery. We are likely to go ahead with your offer due to you having the best price in comparison to the others that we have received.
Here is some background info and a quick summary for you in response to you message:
- I can now confirm that the date of the move will be Thursday 3rd August. We can decide on a specific time in the coming weeks. Are you available for that date?
- The largest items that we need moving are a King Sized Mattress with a Devan Bed Base, Single Sized Mattress with the Bed Frame and a Cot Bed. We are also have a large book shelf and a small book, as well as a work desk that will be dismantled. We are getting rid of our two sofas as well as our dining table and chair set. I hope this should be good news for you!
- All of our other household items will be packed up in boxes. So on that premise I feel we should only need the 1 Luton Van (21 Cubic Meters) and 1 person (the driver) to help with the move.
Here some additional questions we have:
Are you able to assist with both the loading from our house, and unloading into our new place?
What are your payments terms? Is there an upfront cost / deposit to pay before the delivery? Or is it all paid once the job has been done?
Many thanks, Rassin. - (23-06-2023)
- Response:
Hello Rassin,
Thank you for your message.
At the moment I'm available on the 3rd August, and I'll be happy to help with your move. We can agree on a convenient time closer to your moving date, no problem at all. If you're confident one van will be enough, that's perfect, my quote is for 1 van and 1 person.
The driver (it will be myself) will help you load and unload your belongings in the rooms of your choice.
As for the payment, once you accept the quote, you will be asked to pay a deposit, and then the remaining balance will be payable on the day of your move.
I hope this makes sense.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards, Michael. - (23-06-2023)
- Question:
Thanks Michael,
Are we okay to pencil in that date and I will complete the booking details online including paying the deposit next Friday?
In terms of time, it will likely be around 10/10:30am on that day we would need the help from, with the aim to all be done in about 1-2 hours.
KR, Rassin. - (24-06-2023)
- Response:
Hello Rassin,
Yes, sure. I'll book the date for now, and wait for your confirmation, accepting the quote next Friday.
Thank you.
Kind regards, Michael Flavius. - (24-06-2023)
