Further information: Collection bank holiday Monday?

Question: Hi

Have spoke to John Pye auction house. They have loading facilities/forklift assistance for pick up.

We don't have offloading facilities at the delivery end in Oban so would probably look to handball it off if possible (unless you have offloading facilities on the wagon)

The pallet needs to be picked up at some point between 9am & 4pm today, tomorrow or Wednesday but I'm not too fussed when it comes up to Oban if it's cheaper to come up with other loads etc.

Any issues with this can you please let me know.

Response: Right, okay. I have just had a look now. I have a SWB available but unfortunately this will be too small, however. I have a car trailer which should be fine to get this collected etc. collection will most likely be for Wednesday ETA 9am and delivery will be on the same day. If you are happy to proceed please accept the quote and I will get this booked in, payment terms will be 50% upfront to book a slot and the remaining balance paid after delivery. Could you do this for £500 or is that too low?if you could I would book this in straight away. (just thought I would ask as that was the top figure I had in my head)

Sounds good to me though, I can phone John Pye tomorrow and see if they have a slot at 9am on Wednesday. I think I would then need your van registration etc to let them know who you are and that you have authority to pick it up.

I think I would get you to deliver it to my work rather than my house as they have a decent sized yard and I won't be using them for a couple of months.(just round the corner so it's no further)

Can you let me know your thoughts as this all sounds pretty good to me if it's picked up and coming the same day.

I'll accept the quote as is I think.

It says I need to pay a deposit to the site and then pay the remainder to you so can you just confirm you are still available to pick this up on Wednesday and I will get the ball rolling.

Oh and it would need to be card payment, can we sort this once I've paid the deposit to delivery quote.

Response: Hi Michael, and yes sure. I am available to get this collected using a T2 car Trailer etc. also you will need to pay a small deposit to confirm the booking and the 50% of the remaining balance to me upfront and on receipt of the invoice. Payment can be made by way of a card payment, PayPal, direct bank transfer or credit card. If you are happy to proceed please accept the quote now and I will get this booked in for Wednesday the 7th ETA between 9am - 10am and ETA for delivery will be updated on the day.
