Question: Thank you. I would like to quote for 2 vans for this job. Firstly I will explain the reason why we require 2 is purely for the weight, Overloaded vans are subject to a maximum fine of €4000 is caught overloading. This is something that I know happens a lot with smaller companies in Spain who often run the risk. I have even know of some smaller companies to leave the van and the goods at the roadside with the Guardia Traffic as the fine is worth more than the van itself. I am not trying to scaremonger you just want to express how important this is even if you choose another company for your move to ensure a smooth delivery of all your goods. Obviously the volume on the 2 vans is substantial for the volume you say you have in storage but if you have say 80 boxes each weighing an average of only 15kg then this alone is 1200kg which is the legal loading weight of the 1st van hence requiring 2. The price quoted below is for the 2 vans/drivers with a loading capacity of 2400kg. The drivers will help load/unload and is inclusive of all cost’s (no hidden extras). We don't take risks with overloading as it also invalidates the insurance. Any questions let me know?
