Question: Good morning, Im looking to give you a quote but just want to confirm the vehicle dimensions, I have a width of 1.52m for a 1958 Nash Metropolitain which is slightly different from the dimensions you have provided. Can you confirm the correct width please, it makes the difference in being transported inside my van or needing to use a trailer and subsequently the overall quote cost. Response: I’m away from the vehicle right now, but the dimensions I have on my IPad are: 11’7” length, 5’1”” width . What is the internal length of your van? I have all the interior , two engines, two transmissions, and all the glass to pack in so need a certain amount of space. I hope this is helpful, thanks Peter Francis

Forgot to mention, the car itself is a ‘rolling shell’ - no engine, no transmission, no glass, no interior so is very light

On that basis I will quote for a trailer, leaving us space in the van for the interior, engines, transmissions and anything else that we need to get in. As with all my long distance quotes for cars, will you want to travel with myself and Meg? Theres obvioulsy no extra charges if you want to other than a hotel stop over, for info, I normally use a hotel at Pooley Bridge in the lakes as I have a secure place to leave the trailer overnight nearby.
