Response: Hello,

Unfortunately that would not be possible. Insurance value and the value for customs on the invoice need to be the same. I get asked this question a lot but customs check how much the items are insured for and then take that value to calculate Import Duties and Taxes - In addition an insurance broker would only compensate you for the amount you'd paid for the goods only not the cost to repair. Other carriers might have offered insurance for 7000 charging a heft premium, however you would then get stuck with a huge customs bill and in the event the goods were lost or damaged - the insurance company would only cover the amount you've paid - so you would lose out big time.

Our service is via DHL Express - pioneer express specialist - 99.5% of the time if the goods are securely packaged they would arrive in 100% condition - from our feedback on the site you can see that so far we have not had any issue of damage via our services (5* rating and 100% positive feedback) - (02-02-2018)

Yes we can collect the box next week for you any week day. Yes we will do both Import and Export customs clearance and provide all paperwork. And in addition, you will be able to track your box online and delivery will be made to your home in Japan.

Additional insurance of EUR2900 will cost EUR110.
