(and if not whether you have any facility to temporarily cover the car on its journey? Even with the hood fitted the Caterham 7's weather tightness is not one of its best features! 2. Do you have experience of transporting this kind of car? It's a road car, not a track/race car, but I think it has quite low ground clearance. 3. Do you have availability for delivery early next week? The car is having some minor work done on it currently and I'm waiting for a precise day when it'll be ready for transport. 4. Also what is the deposit amount please? Thanks, Richard. - (08-09-2020) Response: Hi Richard. Sorry for the delay in replying, I have been driving all day. 1. I run a single car transporter, which is much safer than a trailer. It is not covered but I do have paint friendly car covers if needed. 2. I have moved many Caterhams and similar cars and have never had any problems. I also carry extra ramps in case of low cars. 3. At the moment I am available all of next week. 4. The deposit is paid to the website and that is their commission. I would guess in this case it would be around £80. 5. I have been moving classic cars for around 8 years now and have moved cars from the 1920’s up to brand new ones. I have a 100 percent feedback score on all the websites I use. Please check my feedback’s on this site. Your car will be fully insured up to £50,000. 6. If there are any other questions you would like to ask me, please feel free to do so. Regards.
