The quote is for transport inclusive of insurance for the transport of boats and VAT, but not lifting or slipway fees.
Your boat will be moved on one of our fully adjustable boat trailers, towed by a 4x4 specially adapted and uprated for heavy duty towing, and in compliance with Tachograph and Operators Transport Regulations, and driven by a LGV (Class1) qualified driver.

Thank you for the quote. Unfortunately the boatyard in Plymouth does not have any lifting gear on site. Do you have a Hiab crane that could lift the boat onto your trailer? The boatyard books in a crane for 'Batch lifts' but will not be doing this for 'a couple of months'! I can wait but would prefer not to!

Sorry to disappoint I don't have a HIAB. The only thing I can suggest is a local plant hire company might have a lorry HIAB and come in to the yard at a reasonable rate and lift onto the trailer. To talk try user name plus couk.

I have been in contact with the boatyard in Plymouth and they hire in a crane to 'batch lift' boats out. The next one is due 'in a couple of months'.....
