Response: Thanks but I am looking at a specific time and date now of 12th August approx 3pm or 13th August morning. This is because I am travelling down to St Columb from Swansea to view the bike with a private seller so need to take the bike away with me.

Question: Hi, unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to do Sunday or Monday.
As it happens I’m near Newquay at the moment, I delivered a couple of bikes in Cornwall and have come to visit a mate that lives here so here until tomorrow.
If It’s any good for you, I could check the bike over to make sure it’s as the seller has described it to you before you send payment, I’ve had to do this on several occasions for customers.
Checks involve a good look over the bike, check all electrics work as they should, tyres, I’ll get the seller to start it and make sure it does start and sounds ok, check any paperwork, mot, log book and any service history.

It’s up to you, I could then collect tomorrow and deliver either Wednesday evening or Thursday morning if that’s any good?

Response: ok that sounds like an option as it saves us a long trip. Bike is 2018 model so shouldn't have anything wrong. I am a bit worried about buying something I haven't seen. What happens if you turn up and the bike has something wrong or is not as described?

Response: yeah I have read a few of your reviews where you have done this for others. Everyone seems to love your dog lol (and you) To be honest you will probably know more about bikes than we do as this is a first bike for my son. They are claiming that there is no damage and is in immaculate condition and obviously it is only a few months old (they say they are upgrading to a MT09). It is a private seller

Question: Well if your happy accept the quote and pay the site fee, your get my contact info, if you text me a name and number for the seller, I’ll arrange to go round asap, I’ll have a good look over and if there’s any thing that causes concern, don’t buy it, it’d cost you the site fee but you’d have my number for the next one.
It’s entirely up to you.

Response: ok thanks. My son is happy with this arrangement. We have been dealing with seller via message and don't have tel number yet. We messaged them last night and they haven't replied yet. Will message again for number. Sorry we were originally working on the basis of Sunday so there wasn't so much of a rush. Obviously as you are already down there it would be perfect to do this evening or tomorrow. I know the seller works fulltime but as soon as we get a telephone number we will pay the fee. How much is the site fee? Thanks for all your help.

Question: Great, once you accept I think it’s around £36 then it’s 140 on delivery if the bikes good.

Hi Dan. The seller said if you can contact them before 10am maybe they can sort something out for tomorrow. Are you in Newquay until tomorrow evening? If nt we may have missed the opportunity. I will be up from 7.30 am if you would like to contact us in the morning.
