I was kept updated and as I wasn’t going to be in for the drop off they sent me a video of the car all locked up and then posting the keys through my door to give me a bit of peace of mind. Everything was done perfectly and I would definitely use them again for any vehicle transportation in the future. | 1 x Car / SUV: Toyota Celica | acme15 | Gavin seems like a nice guy, and the car arrived in one piece. I'm certain that this was just a series of un-characteristic failures, which is why this is neutral, not negative.
Communication was practically non-existent, I was left in the dark for over a day believing the car was meant to be collected, only for the collection to be cancelled. It was re-scheduled for the following day, and I had to chase all morning for an ETA, which I eventually got, only for the car to be collected an hour after this.
The number I provided for collection was not used, the seller of the car had no idea when to expect the transporter, and I had to relay every message to them myself.
The car ended up being delivered by a completely different company who had been given no information about how and who I need to pay. They were also unable to get through to Gavin for answers.
I had no idea who this company were, whether or not they had insurance, or any of the other things that let me to choose Gavin's company specifically.
Response:Hi, I really do apologies for this I do take full responsibility for the collection being rescheduled and the long pauses between messages. I did try a number of times to call the number you had provided and it went straight through to voicemail. The guy delivering the vehicle does work for me my company is called Quinn transport solutions I do have 4 drivers all self employed but all insured under my traders policy and in transit direct insurance. It was specified cash on delivery and I’m sorry for the confusion. If there is anything I can do ie: partial refund please get in contact. Kind regards | |

Quinn transport picked my vehicle up for a 6 hour delivery and it’s taken 9 days and the vehicle has not been delivered to the garage yet.The courier lied from the moment he picked the car up until the present day. He blames me for ruining his business even though he drove the vehicle to his home address when it should have been trailered to the garage.He is not to be trusted and will evade any questions about delivery. The vehicle has been reported stolen to the police and insurance and the courier now wants me to pick the vehicle up from his home address. I don’t believe for one second that he will tell you the truth and will answer any queries with lies. All parties except the courier are shocked with what he has put me through. | |

My advice is do not pay the deposit until he’s actually in front of you collecting your vehicle. Saying “ you couldn’t find the garage” ….. having driven out from London… without checking you had the full address?? For a person who does this for a living? The delay did get a discount, but not one that paid for wasted mechanics time. Or the delay of my van fixed, so I had to pay for rental van. Recommend… not likely. | |

Poor Communication.
Car was picked up late due to their vehicle being broken.
Then was requested to PAY before the car had been delivered.
Then their vehicle broke down 150 miles from delivery destination.
They advised they could drive it to me, however it was a brand new car, and didn't want anyone else driving it.
I had to go collect it, at 4am.
When I collected it the courier was not there, just the second driver.
No further contact. No real apology, other than when they called at 4am to advise their vehicle had failed.
No offer of any compensation.
Could have got transport £170 cheaper, but selected this company based on positive feedback.
My experience was shocking - would never use again. Response:Hi, I'm sorry about this day I tried everything I could my vehicle had broken down after just purchasing it the day before, I apologized repeatedly on the phone and had to sort my vehicle to get home.
