One global courier brand, DPD, have recently ordered 100 electrical vans\nto add to their arsenal. But these are no ordinary electric vehicle either.\nTheir order comprises of vans weighing 3.5 tonnes. Despite their colossal\nweight for an electric vehicle, DPD state that they will be able to travel 70\nmiles before needing to recharge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is likely that these will be used for local London courier deliverers<\/a> rather than nationwide or continental transportation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n More businesses <\/a>are expected to latch onto the trend of electric vehicles. One benefit of this is to highlight their brand as a company that cares about the planet. In today\u2019s markets, being environmentally considerate can go a long way to attracting and maintaining a customer base.
