Here a simple recipe for custard cookies thats a favourite in our office.<\/h5>\n<h5>These cookies are easy to make and a great one to do with the kids, cheap ingredients but an absolute winner.<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient-description\">\n<h5>125g butter<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient-description\">\n<h5>85g cup caster sugar<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient-description\">\n<h5>1\/2 teaspoon vanilla essence<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient-description\">\n<h5>1 egg<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient-description\">\n<h5>510g plain flour<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient-description\">\n<h5>85g custard powder<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Directions<\/h5>\n<h5>Soften the butter and place in a bowl, mix in the sugar and vanilla.<\/h5>\n<h5>sift the flour and custard powder into the butter mix and combine well.<\/h5>\n<h5>Cover the mix in cling film the put in the fridge for half an hour, it makes it easier to roll.<\/h5>\n<h5>Roll out the pastry and cut into cookie shapes.<\/h5>\n<h5>On baking parchment put the cookies in a pre-heated oven at about 170c for only 10-12 minutes.<\/h5>\n<h5>Enjoy the cooking smell and then fight everyone off for the spoils.<\/h5>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5>Happy cookie day.<\/h5>\n<h5><\/h5>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With Christmas nearly here its a great time to celebrate Bake Cookies Day!
