Sometimes, those of us who spend a long time behind the wheel have no other option but to grab a bite on the road.<\/p>\n

In a recent survey by American insurance website insure.com, 1,500 drivers were asked what their top picks were for when the munchies set in.<\/p>\n

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the results do not reflect the epitome of good health. This might be a sensible decision on behalf of the drivers, as they look to consume a food which causes the least amount of distraction.<\/p>\n

Although not currently illegal in the UK, certain studies suggest that eating behind the wheel can be as dangerous as using a mobile phone. If you do have the urge to snack whilst driving, please ensure you keep your full concentration on the road.<\/p>\n
