Question: Hi, Thank you for your quote. how will the couch be wrapped and will it be in the same van all the way from pick up to drop off? How big is your van ? This is quite a large item so I am also wondering about handling at the pick up end especially and potentially here, as it has to be got into the front room. Is there just you in the van?

I use furniture blankets that are either laundered every 3 months, or renewed after 2 years. (I have recently replaced 10 of these) My vehicle is a Mercedes Sprinter furniture van with a 4.1mtr long luton body.
Being of spindle construction. the Windsor range is quite light in weight and easy to handle, especially with the cushions and mattress removed and handled separately.
The furniture will not be trans shipped to another vehicle, once loaded and covered by myself it will remain in the same position on the van until reaching its destination. - (29-06-2020)

Question: This is a studio couch day bed, so it has a removable back. It is three seater. The back is really nice wood, for showing off rather than covering with a cushion. As it can be removed I am thinking it is best to undo the back and wrap and secure it separately for extra protection. Assuming it is easy to remove, can you do this before leaving the House at Bodmin to be extra sure safe ? - (29-06-2020)

Response: If you can check at the Bodmin location that the back is screwed only and not screwed and glued and get back to me, then I would gladly remove the back. I always carry a small tool kit with me for such purposes, as some of the larger furniture items are easier to transport when part dismantled. - (29-06-2020)

Question: Hi Kevin,
She says the back can come off. So that is a possibility. I will leave it to you to decide what will keep it most safe. The couch frame is described as having no marks on it, So I would appreciate it if you could photograph any marks that you notice ( if there are any) before loading. Are you insured for accidental damages? Tuesday is ok for her. I have tithe phone number and the address.

I photograph unpackaged items as a matter of course. I also use a collection/delivery condition form that backs up the photo images, highlighting any significant faults etc with the article. This is signed by the persons at point of collection and point of delivery.
I have "Goods in Transit" insurance to the value of £10,000 that covers anything carried in my vehicle. - (29-06-2020)
