How are the items packed?
the crate /packing if manufctured from wood would need to be heat treated/fumigated and have relevant certificates. Australian customs are ruthless and will destroy the shipment if it does not have the correct docs.
Also would advise at this stage you seek insurance costs from a specialist insurance company as unfortunately we do not cover object d'Art in our policy. - - Response: Thanks for the info. Items packed in heavy-duty cardboard box with polystyrene packing filler. Quoted diamentions wrong. Should read .112 cu mt (80cm x 70cm x20cm ) Can get own insurance cover.
