Submitting quotes & bids

Before submitting a quote or bid on deliveryquotecompare.com you must complete the registration process in full and activate your account. For further information on registering and activating your account please refer to How to register.

Once your account has been activated deliveryquotecompare.com will automatically match all consignments against the preferences you selected during the registration process. This ensures that we only notify you of matching jobs. For example if you have specified haulage as a category we will not send you removal quote requests. You can change your preferences at any time in the My Profile section.

When a consignment matching your preferences is listed on the website we will send you a notification email. To view the details of the consignment and submit a quote / bid follow the steps as outlined below:

  1. Make sure you are logged into deliveryquotecompare.com by going to: http://www.deliveryquotecompare.com/login.
  2. Select 'Matching listings' on the left hand side of the page
  3. Click on the listing of interest so that the full details of the listing are displayed
  4. View the consignment details including collection and delivery locations, transport timeframe, handling equipment required, as well as other bids placed if the consignment has been listed in an auction format.
  5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page where the quote / bid form is displayed
  6. Enter you quote / bid amount including VAT where applicable
  7. Specify whether the amount quoted / bid includes or excludes the deliveryquotecompare.com success fee. If the amount excludes the success fee, we will automatically calculate the total quote / bid amount including the success fee.
  8. Complete the form in detail including information on the type of vehicle to be used, the insurance provided, the expiry date of the quote / bid
  9. Enter any additional information that the user may require when considering your quote / bid
  10. Click 'Submit quote / bid'

Please note, as detailed in the user agreement, it is strictly prohibited to detail any direct contact information with the quote / bid form, or direct users off-site for the purpose of completing a transaction.

User and transport provider contact details are only exchanged once a user has accepted a transport providers quote / bid. Abuse of this policy could result in account closure.
