About quotes & bids

When a user lists a consignment on deliveryquotecompare.com they have the option of receiving either standard quotes, or listing their consignment in an auction format.

Standard quotes:

With a standard quote transport providers are unable to see what quotes their competitors have offered; only the user can see all the different quotes submitted. A user might request a standard quote to get an indication of cost prior to a delivery being confirmed.

Auction format:

In an auction format transport providers are able to see all bids, including those of competing transport providers. If you submit a bid and are subsequently outbid by a competing transport provider we will send you an email alert notifying you of your current status.

Please note that not all bids are accepted on price alone, as such it is imperative that you complete your profile page in detail in order to maximize your chances of success.
