Question: Hi, thanks for your bid. the pallet would have a car bonnet and either 1 or 2 front wings in the exact colour I need. It will be wrapped well but must not get damaged or it'd be no good to me as I'd be unable to use it. would they be covered by insurance against damage in transit? also when could you collect. needs to be with me between weds and fri next week. (scrap yard is closed till tuesday) Many thanks Matt - (23-05-2015) Response: Hi Matt we do regular work for a company that sends out car parts so know what you mean - the best thing for protection in transit is actually lots of bubble wrap and wrapping them separately so they are easily moved by a driver for transport which means they can also be strapped in transit.. Let me know if that helps. If you could let me know a soon as possible though as we would need to collects Tuesday due to our run that goes to Devon and Cornwall leaving early Wednesday morning. I have bought the items now via the salvage yards ebay shop. They are closed until Tuesday due to the bank holiday but open at 9am. When I spoke to them yesterday they were happy to pack individually for dispatch on Tuesday but it needs to be removed from the vehicle so it'd probably be best not to turn up first thing! I will ring them first thing Tuesday morning to instruct on packaging as you advised. I hope to get the other wing as well so there would be to 2 or three separate items. I will ring them as soon as they open on Tuesday to ensure they have received the email and get onto packing asap.
