Questions

Question: I have managed to secure the services of my 6ft nephew to assist in any heavy awkward loads should you accept my bid for collection next Friday - safehands-64 (26-02-2015)
Response: That is great!

However, our problem is that we need a vendor number and a VAT invoice to be able to pay you for your services. We do not have any other way that we can pay.

Therefore, I don't think it will be possible for us to use your services, even though it would be ideal.

Kind regards,

Gillian
Question: Vendor Number? I can provide my companies house registration number.

As I haven't completed enough work to qualify as VAT registered (£70K in a financial year) therefore I don't charge for VAT so the service is actually VAT free. It is my understanding that the threshold is in place is to encourage the development of smaller companies and not restrict there ability to trade

Im sorry you have the constraints on who can provide the service for you.

Regards,
Kenny McMeekin - safehands-64 (27-02-2015)
Response: Dear Kenny,

Is there any way you could invoice us for payment?
Question: Yes I can send invoice which will clearly show that no VAT had been charged. - safehands-64 (27-02-2015)
Response: Okay, I will get back to you on Monday. I have to run this by my supervisor.

In the meantime, if I accept your bid, could you send me your documents? (if we can not proceed, would there be any repercussions from accepting this bid?)

Regards,

Gillian
Question: Please don't accept until you are sure as it will go against my scoring and perhaps put future potential clients off. I can wait until Monday
- safehands-64 (27-02-2015)
Response: Hi,

I accepted your bid. However, on accepting, it required me to pay a deposit through Paypal or with a credit card. Unfortunately, we can not do this, as we need to pay via invoice. Does this mean that we cannot proceed with the transaction?
Question: I tried to send you my e-mail but it was blocked from the site. - safehands-64 (02-03-2015)
Response: I am sorry that it seems so complicated! We are a big organization and therefore, things are rather bureaucratic at times. Is there no other way to proceed?
Question: I understand having worked for large oil organisation. The only thing I can suggest is if someone pays the deposit then claims on company expenses. Ask for my payment I have no problems invoicing your company. regards Kenny mcmeekin - safehands-64 (03-03-2015)
Response:
Okay,

I think I can pay the deposit on a credit card. Before I do so, can we confirm the details?

Delivery of 2 large tents - cca 50kgs each
2 meters long
1.5 meters wide
1.5 meters high
cylindrical in shape

from: Durham
to: London

payment type: invoice

Pick up date: Friday 6th March, 2015
Question: I can confirm your details. It would be my preference to collect early Friday morning and deliver Friday afternoon. Regards Kenny mcmeekin - safehands-64 (03-03-2015)
Response: Yes,

That would be fine. The actual delivery date doesn't really matter - as long as they're picked up on Friday 6th.

I will be in touch very soon. I just need to get this signed off before we proceed.

Question: No problem, Im just heading on the road and won't be able to reply to any further e-mails until lunch time. - safehands-64 (04-03-2015)
Response: No response yet
