This job would entail a (direct) journey of about 34 miles but I do appreciate that collections and deliveries are combined affairs and not individual ones.

Is it possible to give a more realistic collection window than "up to 21 days"?

A further point: The person from whom the collection would be made is in the early stages of pregnancy and although she would normally be able to help load the package, this could not be guaranteed with certainty. The package would be located a dozen or so paces inside the front door of the property and there is a short flight of steps up to the front door.

If necessary, and to make lifting easier, the package could be divided in to two parts, one weighing approx. 11Kg (contents a standard sized computer) and the other approx. 7Kg (contents a flat-screen monitor).

Would appreciate your thoughts on this.

Lastly, do I understand that the insurance coverage included in your quote is only £50 or does it take into account that I stated the packge value to be £1000?
