Question: Hi,

Is Sea frieght an option? I have checked the loadability on B747 freighter aircraft and this will not load so I think Sea freight might be your only option.

Thanks for your reply. We have one on an ACL vessel out of Baltimore due to be in Liverpool on the 16th, unfortunately there was not enough space for the 2nd unit so we are looking at a solution to getting the 2nd unit across on or before the 16th, in time for our stand at the Manchester Caravan show. If there is a solution via sea for the 16th then great, but I think by sea would render it too late.

I would appreciate any help you could give.

I dont think sea freight will get it back in time. Charter aircraft might be the only option but this would be very very expensive. If your situation is that this must be back in the uk by the 16th I will certainly price this for you. Price indication would be around $200,000.00 usd unless I can find a returning aircraft.

Question: Hi Jonny,

I have just had it confirmed it wont load on B747 which is the largest scheduled aircraft out of the US back to the UK. For charter of IL-76 aircraft you woul dbe looking in the region of $250 - $300 thousand USD. Is it worth me going down this road?

Many thanks for coming back to me, I thought this was going to be a tall order, and I appreciate the time you have taken in researching this on our behalf. The cost implication to charter an aircraft is prohibitive, therefore we would not pursue this. Thanks again for your time, Jonny
