Response: Hi there, sorry to sound so vague at this stage, I have 9tonnes of music equipment for an event.

It needs to leave on the 27th of June from UK and then be returned on the 1st July.

At this stage because we are looking for a quote, we haven't actually got exact sizes and dimensions for you.

Question: It is not possible to do this by road and sea as the transit time is approx 11days. We can quote by airfreight but 9 tonnes is going to be very expensive an in order to quote we will need the sizes - eb--uk (28-04-2010)

Response: Unfortunatley the equipment is only avaialble to leave the country on the 27th June and needs to arrive in Malta on the 29th June the latest. We then need to return it back to the UK for the 1st July.

At the moment we do not have the actual sizes but only know the total weight of 9tonnes.

It is a little catch 22 - we know that if we have the budget then we will use the equipment, book it in and then take it to Malta, if the price to get it out there is too much then we won't be able to book the equipment.

There basically is no way of me getting the sizes before we get a quote on getting it over there.
